The Trend of Research on Alzheimer's Disease based on Bibliometrics and Visualization using Echarts

To reveal the trend of research on Alzheimer's disease (AD) in recent years, and to analyze and analyze the time, country, author, periodical and research hotspots of AD related literatures, and visualize them. And compared the differences in research between China, the United States and other countries in the world so as to provide help for researchers and clinicians. This study selected PMC and PubMed databases of national Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in the United States, and searched 120,000 related literatures by using the keyword Alzheimer's disease. Based on the bibliometrics method, this paper adopts Python script to conduct statistical analysis of the retrieved literature. Moreover, this paper mainly analyzes literatures from 1996 to 2015, and uses Echarts tool for visual processing.
