The purpose of this study is to analyze how the backgrounds of ballet instructors for children influence their perception of educational objectives, learning contents, and teaching methods, and to present the future direction, based on the opinions of specialists. Future directions for achieving structured methods of ballet education are as follows. First, curriculum for ballet education for children should be offered in university training. University education should introduce systematic training curriculums, which provide a chance to consider one`s aptitude as a ballet educator for children before teaching, and train educators with good quality. Second, a distinctive function of short-term and long-term training should be carried out. For ballet instructors in educational fields, a short-term education programs which could motivate them to learn, should be effectively offered. Also the contents and period of education should be further extended for creating a specialized educational system. Third, a specialized ballet program for children should be developed and provided for achieving a whole education. The speciality and reliability of the program will result in the consistent involvement of parents. It will overcome the limitation of once-a-week ballet lesson and serve as an important factor in achieving a whole education.
