Visualización del flujo frente a la intersección de cilindro largo y placa plana

2006
The adoption of new methods and information technologies to improve the management of Mexican irrigation districts maintenance is very important to guarantee their sustainability. In this research a system approach was applied to characterize the problem of irrigation networks maintenance. As a result, a computer information system was designed and implemented to improve the management of irrigation network maintenance called SISCOMAN. The methodology applied is based on a linear software development approach and implemented under a C++ Builder platform which involves a friendly graphical user interface. This software includes a database to manage the inventory of the hydraulic infrastructure, the maintenance engines and daily maintenance activities; it facilitates the creation of the yearly maintenance program of irrigation network and the supervision of the execution of programmed activities. In addition, it incorporates a set of heuristic rules to obtain the optimal allocation of engines. Furthermore, this computer system facilitates the periodical report generation to evaluate the maintenance activities and to detect anomalies. The computer tool proposed, has been tested with data provided by the water user association of the irrigation district DR 011 Alto Rio Lerma, Guanajuato in Mexico.
