El desarrollo emocional en la educación inicial

Education is a constitutional right of Ecuadorian people, this education must be integral, in other words it must develop the motor skills, cognitive, social and emotional areas, nevertheless, the majority of public school teachers with the object of fulfill the development of established skills in the national curriculum guidelines, leave out the emotional development of it, which has an impact on children’s learning since, problems, conflicts, frustrations, among others, which affect the behavior and learning, in other words, these lose or reduce the motivation to learn. Therefore, this research work has as an objective to develop a ludic proposal to reinforce emotional competences in children from four to five years old, so a qualitative and a quantitative methodology was used through observation sheets applied to boys and girls, surveys to teachers and interviews to authorities of Basic General Education “Enma Vaca Rojas” School in order to know about emotional competences’ conditions of initial level’s students. After have got information, was considered pertinent to bring up the proposal “Gestionando mis Emociones”, made up of ludic strategies of emotional education that allow to be applied by teachers in a practical and fun way, these teach students to manage their feelings what reduces disruptive behaviors, improve the academic achievement and encourage empathy permitting to generate a harmony environment inside classroom.
