Characterization of a-Ge films showing shock-crystallization

Abstract Experiments of DSC, mass spectroscopy, electron spin resonance and X-ray diffraction have been performed in order to characterize the a -Ge films which show the shock-crystallization. It has been speculated that argon atoms existing in sputtered films play an important role in this effect.
