¿Cooperar o no cooperar? Crónica del dilema por el espacio compartido del Golfo de México

This document examines the dilemma of managing common goods in a delimited area of the Gulf of Mexico. Our interest is to review the opportunities provided by Ostrom's theory of cooperation to explore a case in a three-dimensional marine space. The proposal matters since we are faced with the challenge of reviewing alternatives and discussing how sustainable marine development is possible in areas of Latin American rural coasts. So we propose to review the chronicle of the shared space construction between oil and fishing, where the sea acts as the system in which common-pool resources are found.
