Гистотопографические особенности мышц, расположенных на рукоятке грудины у детей раннего возраста

The paper is devoted to the study of histotopographic peculiarities in the anatomy and placement of muscles on the manubrium of sternum in infants. We used stereo morphometry to analyze the histologic specimens from the manubrium of sternum of five infant patients after esophagoplasty performed according to the method developed at the Rostov State Medical University, the said specimens covered with the sternocleidomastoid, greater pectoral, sternothyroid, and sternohyoid muscles. It has been established that infants have the manubrium of sternum front covered by muscles by 32±2,5% in the upper part and by 77±3,6% in the lower part. Muscular layer thickness was 5,1±0,3 mm in the upper part of the manubrium of sternum front and 4,8±0,4 mm in its lower part. The back of manubrium of sternum is covered by muscles by 28±2,4% in the upper part, and by 15±1,7% in the lower part. Muscular layer thickness was 2,6±0,2 mm in the upper part of the manubrium of sternum back, and 1,1±0,1 mm in its lower part.
