Modeling and Experimental Study on Tool Wear Life in High-speed Milling

To study the relationship between tool wear life and cutting parameters in high-speed milling,the data of tool wear life at different cutting parameters was obtained through orthogonal experiment,and the in- fluence extent of cutting parameters on tool wear life was analyzed with direct analysis method.Based on the multiple linear regression analysis,an empirical model of tool life was set up and proved to be be- lievable by analysis on variance and partial regression coefficient.The study result is useful for cutting parameters optimization.
