Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer composition for vacuum forming and a method for preparing thereof

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic polyurethane resin composition is provided to have excellent calendar moldability, T-die extrudability, and blown moldability for vacuum forming, and to have excellent surface texture, seat moldability, dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, blooming, chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, photo-aging resistance, etc. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic polyurethane resin composition comprises, by weight: 30-70 parts of ether-containing polyester polyol for which the hydroxy value is 11.22 - 224.11 mg KOH/g; 15-60 parts of isocyanate compound; 1-10 parts of hyperbranched polyol with a carbon number of 2.1-12; and 5-40 parts of a chain extender, selected from a group consisting of diols, triols, and polytetramethyleneetherglycols. The ether-containing polyester polyol comprises, by weight, 30-70 parts of polyfunctional carboxylic acid compound, 5-30 parts of 1,3-propanediols and 20-70 parts of polytetramethyleneetherglycol.
