Allelopathy Effect of Seeds Testa of Paris polyphylla Smith var. chinensis

In this paper,taking allelopathy IR index value(Inhibitory rate) as standards,the effects of the water extracts of testa of Paris polyphylla Smith var.chinensis seeds on cabbage,mustard and rape seed germination and seedling growth were studied.The results showed that the water extracts of Paris polyphylla Smith var.chinensis seeds testa had signifcantly inhibitory effect on three plants of cabbage,mustard and rape seed germination and seedlings growth,and its allelopathic inhibition rate IR was negative.
