Nosocomial infection prevalence survey analysis.

OBJECTIVE To more precisely understand the status of nosocomial infection and antimicrobial drug use.METHODS The method combining bedside survey with inspection of cases to investigate the status of nosocomial infection among all patients(including the discharged,transferred and dead cases,not including the new admitted inpatients) at the day of August 31,2009.RESULTS Of the 1143 cases investigated of cases,14 were with nosocomial infection,the prevalence rate was 1.22%,and the antimicrobial use rate was 61.82%.CONCLUSIONS Strengthening the nosocomial infection control in the key departments and the rational use the antimicrobial drugs can reduce the drug resistant strains.
