Correlation between deficiency-excess syndrome of Coronary Heart Disease and autonomic nervous function

2012
Objective:To observe the correlation between deficiency-excess Syndrome of Coronary Heart Disease(CHD) and autonomic nervous function.Method:150 CHD cases were divided into excess syndrome group, deficiency syndrome group, intermingled deficiency and excess syndrome group. The heart rate variability(HRV) indicators which reflect autonomic nervous function were collected and compared among the three groups. Then the multiple linear regression analysis was did to observe the correlation. Results:There was no significant difference in age among the three groups,HRV indicators in the excess syndrome group were the highest, followed by the intermingled deficiency and excess syndrome group, deficiency syndrome group the lowest. Conclusion:The deficiency-excess syndrome and autonomic nervous energy are correlated, with the "excess" to "deficiency"changes, the total energy of autonomic nervous, sympathetic and vagal energy decreases.
