Parameter Estimation of Moving Target in Dual-Channel Circular Synthetic Aperture Radar

2019
In recent years, the spotlight circular synthetic aperture (CSAR) has attracted an increasing interest in moving target tracking because of its long synthetic aperture time. However, due to its long synthetic aperture time and circular track, parameter estimation is more difficult than that in LSAR. In this paper, the moving target's range history for spotlight CSAR is derived, and a sub-aperture-based parameter estimation method is proposed, where Doppler parameters and interferometric phase information by along track interferometry (ATI) are performed. Simulated and measured data results verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the validity of the proposed method.
