Mineral resources of the Badlands Wilderness Study Area and the Badlands Wilderness Study Area Additions, Crook and Deschutes counties, Oregon

This paper reports on the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Bureau of Mines that conducted a mineral resource assessment of the study area in 1986-88. There are no identified resources in the study area, and no areas of altered or mineralized rock were found. There is a low potential for geothermal resources and for oil and gas.
