The article investigates the theoretical and methodological principles of managing financial and economic stability and development of hotel, restaurant and trade enterprises. The article proposes the structuring of factors influencing the financial stability of hotel and restaurant and trade enterprises. The factors that determine the inefficiency of the management system of enterprises of the hotel-restaurant and trade sphere have been identified. The process of bankruptcy of hotel-restaurant and trade enterprises is studied and the main reasons of its insolvency are determined. The main stages of the financial crisis of hotel and restaurant and trade enterprises are considered.
