Uptake Patterns of Different Peptides in the Culture by Rumen Microorganisms

2004
The uptake patterns of different peptides in the culture by rumen microorgaisms were explored. The results showed that the amount of peptides uptake was increased significantly (P0.01 or P0.05) with incubation time extending, but the rates of peptides uptake was decreased significantly (P0.01).When peptides concentration was increased in the incubation, the amount of peptides uptake and rates of peptides uptake were increased significantly (P0.01 or P0.05),but the proportion of peptides degradation was decreased significantly (P0.05).The amount, proportion and rate of rumen peptides uptake were higher than those of soybean protein peptide (P0.05) and corn protein peptide (P0.01).The results suggested that the rate of peptides uptake might be different when they were from different proteins resources.
