Dimension Model Development of Health Center Staff Soft Skills in Mediating Determinant Factors With Performance

Soft skills, in it dimension contain the emotional quotient, is very important, because it related to the affective and social competence, as well as productive skills that which can be measured on performance, duties and responsibilities. The purpose of this study was to identify and develop a model of soft skills dimension with comprehensive dimension. The design of this study was cross sectional study, data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed by path analysis using Partial Least Square. Data were collected in three phases, the first phase is to 39 subjects at three health centers in the Agam District, the second phase is to 99 subjects at seven health centers in Padang, and the third phase to 351 subjects in 22 health centers in Padang within the period April 2014 until July 2015. Study showed that soft skills dimension consist of 28, structurally this dimensions are grouped in two sections and four subsections. Soft skills was represented the most significant by most of dimensions which incorporated in interpersonal.
