Study on Reducing Ammonia and Sulfureted Hydrogen in Henhouse

2009
Three thousands 25-day-age Arbor Acre (AA) healthy broilers were randomly allocated into 3 henhouses averagely. Henhouse 1 was control group and the others were experimental groups which New-Green enzyme 0.4 g/kg (henhouse 2) and 1.0% zeolite (henhouse 3) were supplied in broilers diet, respectively. The results showed that ammonia (NH3) and sulfureted hydrogen (H2S) in henhouse 2 and henhouse 3 were significantly lower than that in henhouse 1 (P0.05) and were dropped 38.23%,41.57% and 33.98%,39.33%,respectively. But the test henhouses were not obvious difference. Meanwhile the weight gain of the broilers supplied New-Green enzyme and zeolite significantly higher than that in henhouse 1 (P0.05) and feed efficiency were enhanced 8.44% and 6.22%,respectively.
