New approach to modeling the direct torque control applied to the induction motor, Reduction of ripples on the torque
2016
In this paper, We will be interested to the direct torque control (DTC) of an induction motor associated to the inverter (Inv-IM). This technique presents several advantages compared to other techniques such as vector control and field control. DTC permits to control directly the stator flux and the electromagnetic torque by selecting the appropriate vector voltage to be applied to the induction motor. In this work, I start by modeling the DTC of Inv-IM as a hybrid system (HS). Then, we abstract the continuous dynamics of the HS. We obtain a discrete event model of the HS. And finally, we use Supervisory Control Theory of DES to drive Inv-IM to a desired working point.
