Pole terminal with anti-rotation

The invention relates to a terminal post (20) for clamping to a rotationally symmetrical battery (6) of a battery (2) with a clamp (24), a clamping screw (34) for tightening the clamp (24) and a side (via the clamp 24 ) projecting anti-rotation element (38) having a housing (4) cooperates the battery (2) and prevents rotation of the clamp (24) to the battery (6) over a predetermined maximum rotation angle. It is contemplated that the anti-rotation element, a means of the clamping screw (34) is releasably attached to the clamp (24) fixed, simple shaped sheet metal or plastic part (38).
