Non‐Stationary Stimulated Acousto‐Optical Interactions in Solid Dielectrics
1987
A theoretical analysis of non-stationary interactions of intensive laser light and a bulk acoustic wave in dielectric crystals is made. The time dependence of the source of both, light waves and acoustic wave is considered. All fundamentals kinds of acousto-optics interactions, viz. Stokes and anti-Stokes processes, as well as the generation of acoustic waves by “mixing” two light beams are discussed.
