Eugene von Guerard and Victoria's changing landscapes

The recent 'Nature Revealed' exhibition gave people the opportunity to study Eugene von Guerard's evocative paintings, as well as the field sketches on which they were based. Through his work, we can see some of Victoria's iconic landscapes as they were 150 or more years ago, helping us understand the changes that have occurred since, and the challenges in managing these environments today.
