Paciente de 71 años con dolor óseo: a propósito de un caso

Case about a 71 years old patient consulting for mechanical left hip pain of one month evolution. We ask for a pelvis X-ray because there is a diffu culty for adduction in the phisical exploration. This is written by the radiologist like diffuse eleva tion of the bone suggesting Paget disease. The change of the pain to inflamatory induces us to investigate further and think about differe n t i a l diagnosis. We got in the blood test normocro m i c normocitic anemia, ESR elevation, AF elevation and a high SPA. The bone gammagraphy shows bo ne methastasis. With this case we want to show the import a n c e of describing radiology findings without giving diagnostics and in the other hand go through the differential diagnosis of the bone pain.
