Large polyfurnace for chloroethene mass polymerization

2005
A large polymerization still for vinyl chloride mass polymerization includes a kettle, a transmission device, a stirrer, and a polymerization DCS control system. The utility model is characterized in that the transmission device includes an upper transmission device and a lower transmission device respectively set on the top and bottom of the kettle. The stirrer includes an upper stirrer and a lower stirrer respectively set on the top and bottom in the kettle. The out wall of the straight segment of the kettle is equipped with a quick-opening manhole and a screw semi-canal jacket. The out wall of the bottom of the kettle is equipped with a screw diversion jacket. The advantages of the utility model are that the upper and lower transmission forms are simultaneously adopted. The upper adopts a helix stirrer and the lower adopts scraper type stirrer with cooling water in the stirrer to enhance heat transferring effect of the equipment. At the same time, stirring strength shear force and times of cycle are improved to make the particle of the product centralized and homogeneous. The two devices have opposite rotary direction. The lower stirrer assists the upper stirrer to lift material so as to enhance the stirring heat transferring effect. The large polymerization still for vinyl chloride mass polymerization has advantages of high rate of porosity, high purity, good insulating property, better shape of the particles, homogeneous distribution of molecular weight, high smoke absorption rate and little black-yellow points and crystal points.
