Research on the Experimental Efficacy of Eight Formulations of Mosquito-Repellent Incense

Objective:To screen substitute for fenobucarb in application of mosquito-repellent incense because of its restricted use. Methods: Analogous field test and lab test. Results: The 24 h mortality rates of 8 formulations of mosquito-repellent incense in lab test was between 50.4% - 92.5% , the 24 h mortality rates in analogous field test was between 54% - 88% . Conclusion: The rational formulation of pyrethroid and methylcarbamate mixture has good efficacy against mosquitoes.
