The article dwells upon the aspects of investigating the problem of the pedagogical activity establishment. The author presents some results of the formative experiment on the establishment of pedagogical activity in students' training. The article singles out the contradictions in the preparation of the students of pedagogical institutions to their pedagogical activity. The theoretical basis of the process of establishing the pedagogical activity in students' preparation is formulated. It is supposed that students' preparation to the pedagogical activity should be organized as the establishment of pedagogical activity. The author marks out the characteristics of pedagogical activity which are actualized under the influence of educational events and define the establishment of pedagogical activity. The author's definition of the notion "educational event" is given. It is understood as the major requirement of the pedagogical activity establishment in students' education. The author of the article presents the process of pedagogical activity organization as vertical and horizontal structures. A vertical structure reflects the consistency (stages, logic) of establishing pedagogical activity in education. The author singles out and gives the general characteristics of the stages of pedagogical activity establishing: the first stage of the actualization of the pedagogical activity objectness; the second stage of the generation of personal attitude to the pedagogical activity objectness; the third stage of the personal sense discovery in pedagogical activity; the fourth stage of the generation of axiological and meaningful relations in the context of pedagogical activity; the fifth stage of the enrichment of personal senses of pedagogical activity. Educational events, projection in the students' individual work, reflection of personal pedagogical activity serve as means of pedagogical activity establishment. The article substantiates the general result of the organization of pedagogical activity establishment in education, which is the change of the quality of students' preparation to the pedagogical activity.
