component, which downgraded the cosmesis from Grade II to Grade III following radiotherapy retreatment which was better reflected in the Modification score (AGHM 2-3). Conclusions: Repeat lumpectomy and balloon brachytherapy reirradiation in the treatment of the previously irradiated breast is feasible and yields acceptable cosmesis. The Allegheny General Modification of the Harvard/ NSABP cosmesis scale is a better and more accurate representation of the effects of retreatment irradiation.
