Raman scattering and phonon density of states of an a-15 compound: V3Si☆

Abstract The defect induced Raman scattering of non-stoichiometric V 3 Si is very weak. It is compared with the phonon density from neutron data. In addition, allowed first and second order Raman scattering are observed.
