Methods for Dectecting Human Papillomavirus and Detection Kit Thereof

2001
PURPOSE: Provided are a method and a kit for analyzing the genotype of human Papilloma virus(HPV), thereby specifically analyzing the genotype of HPV, and rapidly analyzing the duplicated infection of HPV. CONSTITUTION: The method for analyzing the genotype of human Papilloma virus(HPV) comprises the steps of: (a) collecting cells from the uterine cervix; (b) extracting DNA therefrom; (c) amplifying the extracted DNA by using PCR; (d) cross hybridization of the amplified HPV gene with an HPV oligo-chip; and (e) determining the genotype of the specifically bound HPV, wherein reagents for extracting DNA contain proteinase; primers for PCR have the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 2. The kit for analyzing the genotype of human Papilloma virus(HPV) comprises (a) a uterine cervix sample collecting apparatus and DNA extracting reagents; (b) reagents for HPV-PCR; and (c) an oligo-chip for analyzing the HPV genotype.
