New continuous-casting equipment

New equipment for plasma heating of steel in the intermediate ladle is discussed. Experiments have been conducted on continuous-casting machine 4 at OAO Magnitogorskii Metallurgicheskii Kombinat, in collaboration with Bardin Central Research Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy, OOO AGNI-K, and other organizations.
