장애인동계올림픽 단체종목선수의 유·무산소성 운동능력

2014
The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of exercise on aerobic and anaerobic exercise capacity of wheelchair using disabled. Participants were 19 male wheelchair using disabled athletes consisted of national ice sledge hockey team(HT, n=15) and national wheelchair curling team(CT, n=4). Aerobic exercise capacity related variables were analysed by graded maximal exercise test with arm ergometer, and anaerobic exercise capacity related variables were measured in shoulder joint and elbow joint with isokinetic dynamometer. As a result, VO2 max, minute ventilation volume, and exercise duration time in HT were significantly higher than those in CT. Flexion and extension strength of both shoulder joint and extension strength of both elbow joint in HT were significantly higher than those in CT. Ipsilateral and bilateral balance ratio of both shoulder joint were maintained within normal range in both HT and CT. Ipsilateral balance ratio of both elbow joint in HT was higher than normal range while ipsilateral balance ratio of nondominant side elbow joint in CT was lower than normal range. In conclusion, aerobic and anaerobic exercise capacity of wheelchair using disabled were strongly affected by participation exercise type more than wheelchair propulsion during daily life. Improvement of exercise capacity was influenced by characteristics of participating exercise, and directly proportional to workrate. And it is suggested that flexor strengthening program of elbow joint in HT and extensor strengthening program of elbow joint in CT should be introduced for sports injury prevention.
