Direct-current carbon arc spectrochemical determination of the rare earth elements

1987
Abstract A direct current carbon arc spectrographic procedure, developed to determine rare earth elements, Sc, Zr, Hf, and Th in silicate materials is employed to analyze a large variety of standard reference materials. The average precision amounts to ±15% for the 10–1000 ppm range.
