Design of an Anti-Offset Inductively Coupled Power Transfer Device Based on S/LCC Compensation Topology

In an inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system, the sensitivity of the coupling coefficient to position makes it necessary to operate on devices with almost no offset. In this paper, an anti-offset ICPT device has been proposed, which has a good anti-offset effect. The device consists of DD coil, S/LCC compensated resonant converter and a DC-DC converter. In order to verify the analysis and design,, a 1 kW prototype with a 200 mm gap was fabricated and tested. From DC 40V input to DC 40 V output, the total efficiency is 82.3%.
