Device for stacking articles

The invention relates to the handling of objects, wherein objects formed from a plurality of stacked layers that are layered to form a plurality of superposed to form a stack. Between the individual stack layers duenne intermediate layers are arranged. The aim of the invention is the mechanization of the process of stacking. In this case, the object is to provide a device for stacking articles, in which the means for applying the intermediate layers are part of the stacking device to stack layers. According to the invention this is achieved in that in a stacking device consisting of a conveyor for feeding the articles, a transversely thereto movable shifter and a raisable and lowerable stack receiver, on the underside of the displacement device means for storing and orderly guiding the objects, and means are arranged for lifting and holding the liners at approximately the same height in the direction of movement behind each other.
