The invention discloses a novel yarn steaming method of a wool and chemical fiber blended yarn. The novel yarn steaming method comprises the following steps of 1) vacuumizing a yarn steaming tank to 200mbar, charging overheated saturated steam at the temperature of 107DEG C into the yarn steaming tank so as to enable the temperature in the yarn steaming tank to reach 85DEG C, preserving the heat for 10min when the vacuum degree in the yarn steaming tank reaches 700mbar, and then facilitating the vacuum degree of the yarn steaming tank to reach 720mbar; 2) vacuumizing a vacuum tank to 300mbar, replenishing the over-saturated steam of 107DEG C again, wherein when the temperature reaches 85DEG C, the vacuum degree of the vacuum tank reaches 560mbar, preserving the heat for 30min, and finally facilitating the vacuum degree of the yarn steaming tank to reach 570mbar; 3)adding a short vacuumizing process before the steaming of the yarn is ended, and preserving the heat for 5min. By adopting the novel yarn steaming method, the moisture regain of the yarn can be reduced, the mould of the yarn in the storage process can be prevented, and the quality of the yarn can be improved.
