Clinical investigation of mixed stroke patients

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and theapeutic experience ofmixed stroke. Method 114 cases of mixed stroke patients were retrospective study to summarized. Andanalyze the therapeutice experience and prognosis. Result Among 114 cases of patients, Hypertensivearteriosclerosis dominated 81%,76 cases express intracerebral hemorrhage as main appearance at thebeginning, 28 cases mainly express cerebral infarction. 10 cases uncertain in nature. 64 cases diagnosisconfirmed by cranial CT at the first time. The residue 50 cases were confirm by repeat cranial CT or MRIduring the preriod of therapy, the symptoms became deteriorated or new syndrome shown. Conclusion Forpatients in middle age or aging, hypertensive arteriosclerosis in the past history, with suddenlyappearance of unrelated neurological functional defect or only a kind of cerebral strokes at thebeginning of disease and then became deteriorated during the process of treatment, express new symptomsand signs, all these need to have cranial CT or MRI examination as soon as possible.We emphasize theimportance of personalization in the treatement to beneficial the recovery of disease.
