Артериальная гипертензия и сосудистое ремоделирование у поздновозрастных пациентов: влияние паттерна кровотока

Purpose: to estimate the dynamics of intimal-medial thickness (IMT) in elderly patients with arterial hypertension and compare to blood flow (BF) pattern parameters. Material. n = 179. IMT of common carotid arteries was evaluated by B-mode ultrasound (Philips Envisor HD, USA). BF pattern was studied in in vitro modeling. Results and conclusion. IMT changing was of nonlinear character. No significant correlation between IMT and systolic, diastolic, mean blood pressure levels, or medication spectra was revealed. IMT correlated with linear velocity in BF central zone, dynamic stability of BF clusters, granulocytes count in peripheral blood, and leukocytes count in lateral and intermediate BF zones.
