The invention discloses an information operating maintenance management method which comprises the steps of: modeling a desktop management task farce/common information model (DMTF/CIM); and logically dividing a business process architecture: a data layer based on the DMTF/CIM, an application support platform layer and an application and presentation layer, wherein the application and presentation layer comprises an interactive interface for realizing man-machine interaction with a user, and a plurality of application programs used for completing a user business request, the application support platform layer is used for providing a support platform based on the DMTF/CIM for constructing the application programs, and the data layer based on the DMTF/CIM is used for realizing data storage and management of data required by the application programs. Therefore, through the interaction interface of the application and presentation layer, a user can realize unified management and monitoring of various businesses through the application programs requested by businesses of the user.
