Novel preparation method for acetaminophen

The present invention relates to a novel method for preparing acetaminophen, and more specifically, to a method for preparing acetaminophen, comprising the steps of reacting a benzene compound substituted with a specific functional group and acetamide in the presence of a metal catalyst; and preparing acetaminophen by reacting a product and an aqueous solution in the presence of a metal catalyst and a base. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for preparing acetaminophen which is environmentally friendly since a strong base is not used during the preparation process, and efficient and economical since acetaminophen can be prepared in a high yield while omitting a separation process of position isomers.
