The invention relates to a distributed power grid fault recovery controller and a working method thereof. The distributed power grid fault recovery controller is composed of a DSP chip, a power supply unit, a communication unit, an upper computer, a storage unit, an AD processing unit and a reset circuit. The power supply unit is connected with the DSP chip and the communication unit; the communication unit is connected with the DSP chip and the upper computer; the upper computer is connected with the communication unit and the power supply unit; the storage unit is connected with the DSP chip; the AD processing unit is connected with the DSP chip and the upper computer; and the reset circuit is connected with the DSP chip and the power supply unit. The provided controller has following beneficial effects: firstly, the equipment utilization rate is high, the distributed modularization access is realized, and the compatibility is high; secondly, the software pertinency and the execution efficiency are high; thirdly, the processor operation is in a high speed state and the real-time processing capability is strong; and fourthly, the peripheral external equipment has a simple structure, the technology is mature and stable, and the controller is easy to realize and control.
