Performance of Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) Coded OFDM system based on adaptive modulation

A LDPC-COFDM system model, which based on adaptive modulation and soft demodulation, was analyzed. The system allocates the bits according to the channel gain of each sub-channel adaptively. The adaptive modulation and the soft demodulation algorithms were discussed and the simulation results were presented. The simulation results show that the model can effectively improve the bit-error-rate performance of the system, adapting to the time-variant behavior of the multipath fading channel.
