Design of Leaking Mode Free Hollow-Core Photonic Bandgap Fibers

An analytical design method of leaking mode free, large bandwidth, hollow-core all-silica Bragg fibers is reported that takes into account the effective refractive index change of the air layers caused by silica struts.
