A STUDY OF UROKINASE IN COMBINATION WITH LOW-MOLECULAR HEPARIN FOR ACUTE CEREBRAL INFARCTION

Objective\ To observe the effect of urokinase in combination with low molecular heparin in the treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction. \ Methods\ 102 patients with acute cerebral infarction were divided into two groups: Treated Group(urokinase plus low molecular heparin, 58 cases)and Control Group (mannitol, WNLT and CDP Choline, 44 cases). The efficacy of both groups was evaluated three weeks after the treatment.\ Results\ The score of deficiency of nerval function in the Treated Group was less than that of the Control Group after treatment for 3 weeks ( t=2.54, P 0.01). The difference in the therapeutic effect between the two groups was significant ( u=3.39, P 0.01). \ Conclusion\ The efficacy of urokinase in combination with low molecular heparin is definite in the treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction and helpful in the prevention of re infarction.
