Body honeycomb (1) with two opposite front sides (2), comprising at least one housing (3) and at least one metallic layer (5) forming channels (4), wherein the body of honeycomb (1) comprises only at least one front side (2) at least one zone (6) fixed with braze within the at least one layer (5), which forms an area (7) of tape form exempt welding abutting the housing (3), and wherein the area (7) as free braze tape comprising a plurality of channels (4) formed by at least one layer (5); and said body of honeycomb comprises also only in at least one partial section (12) spaced from the at least one zone (6) about joints brazed (13) between the at least one layer (5) and at least a housing (3).
