Branched chain consumption of NF2 radicals in mixtures of oxygen with C2H6, C3H8, and C2H4. The region of selfignition of NF2 in mixture with C3H8+O2

1993
The branched chain isothermic consumption of NF 2 radicals in mixtures of oxygen with C 2 H 6 , C 3 H 8 , and C 2 H 4 was found. The branched chain nature of the consumption of minor amounts of NF 2 (P NF2 -10 -3 torr) was observed at 300-700 K under a total pressure of 2-25 torr in the reactor and partial pressures of O 2 and hydrocarbons of 0.1-20 torr. A closed region of isothermic selfignition was experimentally established for the first time for branched chain reactions (in the system NF 2 +O 2 +C 3 H 8 )
