The present invention discloses a sediment type microbial fuel cell, which comprises an anode portion, a cathode portion and an outer circuit, wherein the anode portion comprises a plurality of small anode electrodes, the small anode electrode comprises a layer of a graphite plate and a layer of a graphite felt, or comprises a layer of a graphite felt, a layer of a graphite plate, and a layer of a graphite felt, the graphite plate and the graphite felt are closely attached or the graphite felt, the graphite plate and the graphite felt are closely attached, a hard electric conduction material is adopted to separate between the small anode electrodes and a hard corrosion resistance material is adopted to penetrate through and fix the small anode electrodes to form the anode portion having the fork-shaped integration, the cathode portion comprises a cathode electrode comprising a layer of a graphite plate and a layer of a graphite felt, the graphite plate and the graphite felt are closely attached, and the cathode electrode is connected with suspended solids. The sediment type microbial fuel cell is applicable for water body sediment environments with different pollution degrees. With the sediment type microbial fuel cell, pollutant degradation and electricity production can be effectively promoted, problems of the current microbial fuel cells can be well solved, and the sediment type microbial fuel cell has characteristics of economy, environmental protection, flexible and variable size, and long-term stable operation.
