Regioselective Intramolecular [3 + 2] Annulation of Allene-Nitrones.

Intramolecular cycloaddition of a variety of in situ generated phenylsulfonyl-substituted allene-nitrones proceeds exclusively at the distal double bond to afford fused isoxazoles, irrespective of the substitution pattern at the allene.
