Liver tuberculoma detected by Ga-67 imaging

The authors report a rare case of liver tuberculoma successfully detected by Ga-67 scintigraphy. The patient was referred because of high fever and massive ascites of unknown etiology. Ga-67 scintigraphy showed two hot spots In the liver. Percutaneous biopsy was subsequently performed with ultrasonic guidance, which revealed liver tuberculoma.
