The voice monitoring device is characterized by comprising a plurality of voice collection modules arranged on a transformer box and a host computer, wherein each voice collection module comprises a pickup circuit, a noise filtering circuit, an A/D conversion circuit and a ZigBee wireless transmitting module, which are sequentially connected; the host computer comprises a ZigBee wireless receiving module in communication with the ZigBee wireless transmitting module; the output end of the ZigBee wireless receiving module is connected with a central processing unit (CPU); the CPU is connected with an SD card slot circuit and a power line carrier communication circuit. According to the power line carrier communication-based voice monitoring device for the transformer substation, voice monitoring is carried out on the transformer substation, additional wiring does not needed due to power line carrier communication, and omnibearing voice monitoring can be carried out on the transformer substation, so that a monitoring basis is provided for managers.
