Packaging body for absorbent article

A packaging body (100) for an absorbent article, comprising: a fluid-permeable surface sheet (10); a fluid-impermeable rear surface sheet (20); the absorbent article (1) having an absorbent body (30) arranged between the surface sheet and the rear surface sheet; and a packaging sheet (70) that individually packages the absorbent article. The packaging body for the absorbent article is configured such that the absorbent article is individually packaged, as a result of the packaging body being folded along a pair of longitudinal folding lines in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article, then being folded along a pair of width folding lines along the width direction. The absorbent article is provided with a perfumed area (80) comprising perfume or kampo herbs. Both outside end sections in the width direction of the packaging sheet are layered in the thickness direction of the absorbent article, when the packaging body is folded along the longitudinal folding lines, and both outside end sections in the packaging sheet longitudinal direction are layered in the thickness direction, when the packaging body is folded along the width folding lines.
